My Favourite Thank You Cards

In the spirit of the festive season and all the giving and love I thought it was definitely time for thanks-giving to the gift givers and lovely people! I know I’m going to be buying some thank you notecards for all my friends and family for all the fabulous gifts I’ve received and of course.. Santa. Santa always deserves the biggest thanks for making christmas so magical! I love Christmas ^_^
You can view, and buy (then download some*) of the cards and little stamps above via Etsy. I shall be purchasing this year instead of printing as I’ve had a few disasters with heavy rain and the ink running OFF the flipping card and through the envelope when my family have received their cards o_o it’s all well and good being a bit frugal but sometimes it doesn’t work when you’re trying to show your appreciation!

Shabby Chic Christmas

Hello everyone! I’m sure many of you are still recovering from yesterday, or indeed still celebrating! I discovered the blog Shabby Chic girls and fell in love immediately! I had bookmarked it to share with you and then managed to forget about it… until I saw the christmas decor, and I almost fainted.
How insanely beautiful and feminine is this Christmas decor?! I’m not sure if there are any males about this house and if they just have to put up with it! I’m seriously in love with the pink ribbon that those gifts are all wrapped up in. Brown paper packages tied up with string!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday season ^_^

Merry Christmas

I know toady is a busy day for many and regardless of whether you’re celebrating Christmas or not I wanted to say Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas/Have a great day!
I appreciate each and every one of you who read this blog and without you there would be no blog so thank you!

Images above are by Simply Bloom Photography – doesn’t that cake look too good to eat?!

Merry Everything!

Pretty Pastel Heart Handmade Christmas

Good morning! I thought I would share some images from my family christmaseseseses of one of my favourite trees ever and quite possibly where my love of pastels comes from! There are so many beautiful sparkly ornaments, glass, pearls and unique decorations that I adore! I love the pearl garlands, I actually must find out where they are from and buy some for myself. There is a real labour of love in decorating this room every year and I absolutely love it.
Today will be a day where I will be gift wrapping, drinking lots of coffee and/or hot chocolate and watching Muppets Christmas Carol… and singing all the christmas carols and songs I can think of!
Are you guys busy on Christmas Eve or do you take it easy before the mayhem begins?

Pink and Green Bright Christmas Decor

I’ve seen some multi coloured Christmas decorations over the years and Christmas decor in rooms but never with such a focus on pinks and greens! I love these and I love the use of Royal Doulton cups and saucers. How very fancy ^_^ My granny has the very same collection! Those cards remind me of Genine’s art work and it very well may be but this article is from Style At Home back in 2010.

What do you think of all the bright colours?

Greengate Filled Christmas

Isn’t this one of the most beautiful, festive homes you have ever seen?! This is the beautiful home of Johanna, who’s home was shot by Krista Keltannen for last years “All Time Christmas Home Journal” in Finland.   I am actually rather obsessed by the idea that is provided in the little girls bedroom at the end of the bed! I have a sloped ceiling in my room and that hanging fabric and light installation is absolutely glorious, don’t you think?!

What is your favourite shot of Johanna’s beautiful festive home? I’m in Christmas heaven with all that lovely snow outside ^_^

Incredible Gift Wrap Ideas from Panduro Hobby

Are you feeling inspired to get creative with your gift wrapping this year? I’m feeling inspired but I should probably start wrapping instead of leaving it all to the last minute!
There are some great papers and embellishments available for wrapping your gifts and there is endless inspiration out there for wrapping your presents! I don’t know how much it would be appreciated with my family, I’ve said it before on this blog but it’s definitely true! Gift’s always end up looking like they’ve exploded ^_^
