The Perfectly Pretty Primrose Bakery

 Cupcakes from primrose bakery

How beautiful and delicious do these buns look?! Sorry, cupcakes! I think my favourite is actually the one with the sprinkles.

Cupcakes in a primrose bakery box

The ribbon around the box is just a beautiful touch ^_^

Beautiful pastel cupcakes from primrose bakery

I know these are full of dairy and gluten but they look appetising! I need to find myself a local Vegan bakery/baker! Actually no I don’t. I just need to look at one of these and my love handles start to swell in anticipation of the extra calories. I would eat every last one!

 Inside the primrose bakery

I really love the decor and I think those retro, yellow chairs are my favourite!

Beautiful pastel pom poms in the primrose bakery

Pastel pom pom’s garlore! This makes me very tempted to decorate my house and windows like it’s a shop, that may invite unwanted (nosey neighbours) attention so I might not :p

Cupcakes and cakes on stands in Primrose Bakery

I really would love to own one of these green milk glass cake stands. They’re expensive but absolutely stunning.

The interior and exterior on this bakery are absolutely marvellous!

Living The Perfect Pastel Life

I adore Jenny and Aaron from Everyday is a holiday, they’re fabulous! I really love their art work, their blog and their home! This panel of delicious cakes is one of my favourite things ever.

This is one of Jenny’s lovely little art journals, with lots of layers and paints. I must find out where that little speech bubble type stamp is from.

This is the layering of the above journal page, in progress! Jenny traced the doll dress, then used the pencil transfer method on another piece of patterned paper to make a lovely new dress!

I really want all of these panels in my home and I am SO jealous of these guys talent. Seriously, I wish I could paint like that but there would be no way that would ever happen!

This was part of a lovely little cornucopia tutorial and I just loved the paint colours and splatters. I thought that this could make a lovely party hat :p

I really like this canvas because of the use of stencils and bow embellishments! I want those buttons.

The fabulous paint colours from the cornucopia on the most beautiful plate! I just love that colour. And these paint colours are my absolute favourite! You can probably tell why I love Jenny and Aaron so much.

This is one of their most recent panels and I love it. I also would steal every single one of those cake stands! Sorry guys, I would. I love the pink glass one! I don’t eat lots of cake or even bake so I have no call for cake stands but darn it I want them!

Seroiusly, painting tiny dolls faces, PERFECTLY on a tiny little bit of clay! I love the blue hair ^_^ it’s my favourite.

I’ve actually just purchased a print from Jenny and Aaron (as the plaques are expensive on customs tax here in the UK) and I’m SO excited. I spent forever trying to decide between one like this (above)

and this one… and then I didn’t get either haha. Small question… what the heck is this? Pink jars of sprinkles!? Are these for sale or did Jenny use her fabulous candy coloured brain and decant from it’s regular packaging? So many questions!

This is their famous taffy coloured bathroom! I LOVE IT

These are the benjamin moore paints (more info on their blog)

And Aaron! haaay. I love that radio and I might get some poster board and recreate these fabulous stripes.

I NEED a tiny little deck chair! Where the heck would I get one of these?! That wall sconce is absolutely marvellous. Go visit the blog and share the love!

Perfect Pastel Kitchenware from Leilas General Store

I HAD to include these fabulous Gif files from Leilas general store! I love them. They’re a little bit hypnotising.

I’m quite certain if I entered this store I would never leave again. We could maybe get a little gang together, buy some flowery sleeping bags and fly to Sweden? Squatters rights? I know I’ve got my pink balaclava donned flash mob who is going to travel around europe with me stealing all the pretty things from peoples houses.. so I’m bound to get some ladies coming with me to Leila’s store!

Leila  could just continue with her day… we could make the tea and coffee and just watch in awe. Maybe bring some yarn and crochet some gifts?! :p
Or we could make some fab tea towel crafts with her lovely linens! We could work for having such a pretty roof over our heads :p

bundt cake pan and enamel frying pan

I am so obsessed with these enamel pans. I mean really obsessed. I had them in every colour on my list to santa but they are a little expensive so I understand why he couldn’t fit them all in with the crazy amount of gifts I received! I also want some pastel spatulas ^_^

Vintage style cake stands from Leilas general store

How cute are these little pastel bakeware items?! I want the cake stands!

Pastel coloured enamelware collection from Leilas General Store

You can see why these were on my christmas list right?

Enamel pan from Leilas general store

I’m going to hunt for some of these items. I wish they were easier to find in the UK! I’ve found a few on ebay but I shall keep searching.

Pastel Kitchen ware and enamel jugs and saucepans from Leilas general store

There are so many beautiful items in this kitchen. I wouldn’t even need real cupcakes everywhere.. fake cakes would make me happy. You shouldn’t make them so flipping pretty!! There is actually a brand of bread here in N.I and it is the softest, most delicious bread and I could eat and entire loaf in one go.. I almost did one night with delicious pb sammiches (don’t judge me!) my dad happens to be good friends with the owner of the bread company and he was so happy I gorged myself on bread and I was outraged! “NO! Take your albs back! My love handles HATE YOU!”

Perfect pastel kitchenware and glass cake stands from Leilas general store

Aren’t these so pretty?! I need the mint glass cake stand and pitcher. AND the pink glass.

I want everything in this image! The fabulous washing up bowl, the pip studio mugs and then everything in the background! Oh! And the dish brush ^_^

A little galvanised tin full of lovely flowers in the kitchen!

What type of flowers are these? Are they pansies? They’re so pretty.

Greengate DK Tea Towels hanging on a vintage drying rail

I almost fainted when I saw all of these beautiful greengate tea towels!

 Greengate DK Tea Towels

And then I went on the hunt for a vintage drying rack… I’m still searching. I just love the look of them and I’m fed up of looking at the metal one I have. It’s not pretty, it’s functional but it’s not pretty!

Perfect pastel kitchen accessories

ooooh I love it! Does anyone know the brand of this blue tin?

What type of fire is this?

washing and drying dishes with a greegate dish brush and shabby cream metal drying rack

I would love one of these pretty wire dish dryers! Luckily they’ve become quite popular so I know where I can get them in the UK.

I love the little hooks on the kitchen island

I like the hanging items on the kitchen island! It’s a great idea! I also love that pink, raffia bread basket ^_^

Cath Kidston Cakes and Sugar Craft

 A Cath Kidston Cake Table

How incredible does this Cath Kidston inspired cake table look?! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw some of these cakes!

 Cath Kidston Cake Table

Seriously! Everything here is iced, including the slices! AND do you see that candy stripe wall?! I can’t believe the talent that some people have. Seriously. Sugar craft roses seem to be one of the most difficult things to do (too delicate for me!) and I’m always in awe of how much skill is required to make these.

Sugarcraft roses and flowers ontop of Cath Kidston inspired cakes

I really couldn’t make any of these! I love all of the colours ^_^

Heart Shaped cath kidston inspired cakes

These cakes are absolutely perfect for valentines day don’t you think! The little rose buds are absolutely gorgeous and they just make the collection of larger roses in the centre, really stand out.

Roses and Cake! All I need for a perfect party! I don't even need guests to be honest

Everything in this post makes me so happy! Polka dot cakes! Shut the front door!

Heart shaped mini cake with sugar craft rose

Mini heart shaped cakes are the future. I don’t think I could eat any of these delicious looking cakes. I wonder if they’re polystyrene! :O! The very thought!

Sugar craft roses ontop of a cake

Aren’t these roses just insane?

 Tiered cath kidston inspired cake

If I were ever to get married… this would be my cake.

 Roses on cakes and cookies

I would love this as a little trinket box in my bedroom. With some pearl edging ^_^

A tiered polka dot cake with extra large sugar craft rose

A polka dot cake in my favourite colour! Yes please ^_^

 Sugar craft roses

Now.. is this bigger rose icing? I think it is but it also looks so velvety and beautiful!

Large heart shaped cake with lots of sugar craft roses

This looks like some sort of crazy candy box! I love it. Or a fondant fancy that’s gone mad and heart shaped :p

Sugar craft rose on a cupcake in a gold gilt tea cup

A little teeny weeny cupcake with a big flower! How fabulous. I love the crockery and how all of these lovely cakes have been displayed.

Vintage Pastel Craft Room

Get ready for a gigantic overdose of candy colours and sugar! Today’s post is all about the marvellous sugar*sugar who sadly, no longer posts images or blog posts! I thought a little appreciation sent over her direction may rekindle a little sugary spark ^_^

I do love looking inside peoples craft cupboards to see all the bits and pieces! All of these colours are absolutely marvellous. This was a skinny wardrobe with those little hanging drawer sectors. I like that crochet hanger!

Ok, so I need some ceramic cake stands and an ice cream cone pencil pot. I should probably start like a wish list shouldn’t i!? That would be a great idea.

All of these things are on the list! I have some mint crepe paper but I LOVE the idea of using contrasting pink thread from the sewing machine. I also don’t have the patience to cut the trim like that. I wish I did! Bring the shop back!!!

I love everything in this image but I’ve spied some beautiful, pink, mercury beads that I MUST have! I love them!!!

This is just a feast for the eyes! Is that pink muffin pan silicone? It’s quite hard to see in the images. I do spy some lovely art by the beautiful Jenny Holiday from Everyday is a holiday, previously Jenny’s bake shop!

Everyone paint your dolly pegs!

More views on all the lovely craft storage in this room. I need to get some more boxes and organise my own space.

This big dresser was a DIY project that was executed perfectly! The vintage wallpaper patchwork was a fabulous job. Since I originally saw these images I’ve been on the hunt for a lovely vintage pink jewellery box with drawers!

I really like those shelves with the ribbon storage underneath… can anyone tell me where I can find one?

Fabulous spotty spools! When did Martha Stewart stop making aqua punches?!?!?

What is that three tier hanging thingy? I want one!

This little scrappy, embroidery piece of art work is beautiful and I love that piece of lace! I feel so inspired when I see these images. I want it all for myself!

These are lovely bundles of vintage fabric that used to be for sale on the sugar sugar shop. They’re so beautiful.

This little image is a sneak peek into when the DIY dresser project was in full swing, with the back panel being wallpapered with scrappy pieces of vintage wallpaper.

This was a lucky yard sale find and I’m incredibly jealous!

This is an even better view of the little pink jewellery box I’ve been lusting after!

 A little distressed wooden stool

I absolutely love this little distressed side table and I think it would look absolutely marvellous right beside my sofa! In my humble opinion :p

And this range is just perfect for any occasion. I bought my mum the little key ring for her car keys ^_^ they’re available in different colours and of course I went for pink!

 Pretty pastel book clock

I NEED THIS CLOCK! I had the original version of this clock, in the bright primary colours, but as mint and pink are my FAVOURITE colours, I think I need this in my home.

Pastel cupcake salt and pepper shakers

Everyone needs cupcake shaped salt and pepper shakers in their kitchen! I have some! Actually, I have lots of salt and pepper shakers. I might have inadvertently started a collection.

Rich tea tin biscuit tray - I love this!

I love this. I wish this rich tea biscuit tin tray was available as a tin box! I went crazy when M&S had biscuit tins as classic biscuits.

Rose carved wax LED candle! How fabulous

These LED candles are made of wax! I really like the carved roses detail and these would look lovely on a shelf behind or just above the couch. Keeping the place looking cozy but safely lit!

Pastel Glitter Ice Cream Party

Pink mint and sparkly glitter party table
I love all party decor and I especially love pastels and sparkles! How fabulous is that mint painted dresser?! I don’t think I would have painted the brassware but hey this isn’t about furniture is it?! Look at those tassels hanging from the honeycomb balls! What a fabulous idea.
Glitter and pink stripy punched paper favour boxes

I love these little favour boxes ^_^ The sparkly little glitter paper is my favourite! I wonder if that was laboriously created using loose glitter or if those are available as sheets! I’d wallpaper my house in the stuff :p I love sparkles!

Paper tassel covered soda bottles

Covering soda bottles is a fabulous idea! Personally, I don’t like the brand of soda bottle that is displayed here but you could do the same thing with some of those little milk bottles that are so popular! Or even some vintage glassware would look rather lovely ^_^

 Pink and Mint Sparkly party

I’m a big fan of this banner and that glitter sign! The glitter sign is available as a DIY project on the original source (linked at the bottom of this post).

 Mini doughnuts at a party

More of that fabulous glitter paper. I think it must be paper, creating all these lovely items with loose glitter would have been an absolute nightmare! Although if it was created with loose glitter it was completely worth it.

 Sprinkle ice cream cone party
I have recently been rather obsessed with sprinkles and multi coloured party decor (because of the sprinkles) but they look marvellous and rather understated and fabulous in this pretty pastel setting! I love this whole set up, can you tell?!

A Cath Kidston Filled Home

Pastel knitting and Cath Kidston mug
I was so happy when I found this fabulous blog and the gorgeous images of a home filled with Cath Kidston goodies! Mary Janes tea room is owned by the very talented Susan and is a knitter of soft toys and little animals.

Cath Kidston Magazine files in a bookcase and a lovely CK filled home!

I love being able to have a nosey at peoples creative spaces and how they store craft supplies and what’s on display!

 Cath Kidston magazine file

When I saw these magazine files in Cath Kidston (online store) I actually thought they were flat! The image on the CK site was rather deceptive. I wish I had bought some now! Feeling the January pinch ^_^

 Chalk painted cabinet

This photo is full of so many marvellous little decorative touches I don’t really know where to begin! I tell a lie, the painted drawers. I love them! The colour is fabulous and I’m curious as to whether or not this was painted using Annie Sloan paint. I like how the tartan blanket matches the drawers beautifully! I love the Greengate clock too… you know I’m obsessed with Greengate DK.

Coloured yarn
Colourful Yarn storage

I absolutely love seeing images of yarn collections and all the lovely colours and textures!

Crochet hanger decoration and lovely pot holder/granny square

I like the hanger that matches those fabulous drawers! That flowery ribbon looks like Cath Kidston to me! A surprise I know.. :p How beautiful is this?! Using a crochet or knitted flower as decoration on a hanger is a beautiful touch. If I was staying at this ladies house and this was hanging in the guest room I would want to steal it.

Tanya Wheelan fabric and cath kidston fabric covered buttons

All my favourite shades! Those fabrics are absolutely stunning and I would love to see the full pattern on the fabric at the bottom of that little stack.

 Perfect Pastel Yarns

Pink and yellow lovely photo styling inspiration

These images are rather suited to an Easter theme but I had to share them as the styling is impeccable!

Some lovely fabric covered buttons on top of Pip studio plates! I am obsessed with Pip Studio and I really wish I owned more of the items. I was lucky enough to receive a gift card for christmas for a store that sells Pip studio so there’s a chance I might go a little crazy.

 Winding yarn

Look at this yarn winding contraption! How great is this?!

Go stick the kettle on and visit Mary Janes Tea Room. Please note that I have edited the images in this post by removing all the decorative frames that Susan uses on her blog.

Inside My 2014 Pastel Planner

Some fabulous, colourful stationery to set me off for the new year! I know I’m a little late with this post but the weather has been truly awful, as I’m sure a lot of you have experienced this past few weeks.
I hope this post injects a little bit of colour for you all! I will list the resources for a lot of the items you can see in this post at the bottom ^_^

Isn’t my 2014 planner absolutely marvellous?! It’s from Santa, as is the little cosmetics pouch that I have used as a pencil case! I thought this was the best place to store my New Years Resolutions/goals, so I would be able to look at them constantly! You can read all about how I managed to achieve all my goals in 2013.

How adorable is this little pen?! It’s from an ebayer in the UK. I’m not sure I will be able to find it again but I will post the link if I do. ^_^ My cat leans over the back of the kitchen chairs to see what’s cooking so that’s why I love it so much

This is my rather beautiful faux suede a5 planner. It’s not a filofax, rather a cheaper brand and in my favourite shade of purple! If there had been an aqua version I would have requested it but I really LOVE this planner!

I flipped the inner page because I didn’t want to see that ‘promo’ brand name when I opened my planner and eventually I have taken it out. I am going to change all of the inside tabs as I don’t really have a lot of use for the agenda or address part and I could utilise this planner much more effectively!

Just a little shot to show you the inside ^_^

This little toiletry case is from Santa and I’m very grateful!

The pens are from Muji
The Rilakkuma gel pens can be found here.
The notebook and stickers in the very top image are from Cath Kidston
You can find all my washi tape patterns here and my favourite washi tape stores are in this post
You can find the extra stickers and journal spots seen in images above following the highlighted links
