Perfect Pastel Kitchenware from Leilas General Store

I HAD to include these fabulous Gif files from Leilas general store! I love them. They’re a little bit hypnotising.

I’m quite certain if I entered this store I would never leave again. We could maybe get a little gang together, buy some flowery sleeping bags and fly to Sweden? Squatters rights? I know I’ve got my pink balaclava donned flash mob who is going to travel around europe with me stealing all the pretty things from peoples houses.. so I’m bound to get some ladies coming with me to Leila’s store!

Leila  could just continue with her day… we could make the tea and coffee and just watch in awe. Maybe bring some yarn and crochet some gifts?! :p
Or we could make some fab tea towel crafts with her lovely linens! We could work for having such a pretty roof over our heads :p

bundt cake pan and enamel frying pan

I am so obsessed with these enamel pans. I mean really obsessed. I had them in every colour on my list to santa but they are a little expensive so I understand why he couldn’t fit them all in with the crazy amount of gifts I received! I also want some pastel spatulas ^_^

Vintage style cake stands from Leilas general store

How cute are these little pastel bakeware items?! I want the cake stands!

Pastel coloured enamelware collection from Leilas General Store

You can see why these were on my christmas list right?

Enamel pan from Leilas general store

I’m going to hunt for some of these items. I wish they were easier to find in the UK! I’ve found a few on ebay but I shall keep searching.

Pastel Kitchen ware and enamel jugs and saucepans from Leilas general store

There are so many beautiful items in this kitchen. I wouldn’t even need real cupcakes everywhere.. fake cakes would make me happy. You shouldn’t make them so flipping pretty!! There is actually a brand of bread here in N.I and it is the softest, most delicious bread and I could eat and entire loaf in one go.. I almost did one night with delicious pb sammiches (don’t judge me!) my dad happens to be good friends with the owner of the bread company and he was so happy I gorged myself on bread and I was outraged! “NO! Take your albs back! My love handles HATE YOU!”

Perfect pastel kitchenware and glass cake stands from Leilas general store

Aren’t these so pretty?! I need the mint glass cake stand and pitcher. AND the pink glass.

Pastel tin jugs for spring time!

The full range of pastel colours is available just in time for spring! I adore those vintage style post cards and lovely flowers ^_^

Macaroon trinket boxes in a pastel colour palette - all my favourite colours!

I’m not 100% sure what trinkets are. There, I’ve said it! I feel bad for not organising small items properly! I would actually love to own the large, lilac box that these little macaroons are all stored in.

Rose carved wax LED candle! How fabulous

These LED candles are made of wax! I really like the carved roses detail and these would look lovely on a shelf behind or just above the couch. Keeping the place looking cozy but safely lit!

I love seeing new ideas and inspiration for crafting with paper so you can imagine my joy when I found a complete party that was created and styled for Kikki K using their fabulous stationery supplies!
 Cut out pretty paper garland
This little cut out banner is a lovely decor idea. I haven’t intended there to be almost 3 days worth of party posts! It just so happened that way!
paper cuttings from Kikki K patterned paper
Happy Birthday gift wrap from Kikki K stationery

It’s always great to find gift wrapping inspiration and I really love both the gift wrap paper patterns here.

Not to mention these little confetti filled boxes! Aren’t they fabulous?! They make fantastic decorations.
wrapped ice cream cups and stamped spoons from Kikki K
This little party was created to promote a special collection and they’ve really done a fabulous job! I want to go grab my scrapbook paper collection and start punching as much confetti as I can get.
Handmade rosettes using Kikki Patterned paper
And make some paper rosettes! It’s been a while since I’ve done that ^_^ Where’s my glue gun?!
Popcorn cones using Kikki K Patterned paper
These little paper cone’s are a great idea for serving pop corn or even sweets. Stick some grease proof paper in there and you could serve chips! (I mean french fries)
A little paper craft party decor challenge with Kikki K Stationery

I love everything about this little party, including the wall decor of cut out paper shapes!

Making paper crowns from scrapbook paper from Kikki stationery
The paper crowns are a fabulous little touch and I was wondering what those little ice cream cones were made out of, thinking they looked an awful lot like loft insulation and then it dawned on me that it was felting wool. I’m silly!
365 Journal from Kikki K Stationery

I really love Kikki K’s 365 diaries and each year they think of creative little prompts to fill in each day.

A Fathers day scrapbook from Kikki K stationery

There are always some great Fathers day ideas too ^_^

Kikki K's Dreaming patterns were hand painted and designed with watercolours

One of the collections over at Kikki K was designed by an artist using lots of lovely water colours and I am completely enamoured with all the patterns ^_^

A nautical inspiration board from Kikki K Stationery

Kikki K don’t just have party ideas on their site; they’re a stationery store so they’re full of papers, notebooks, tags, gift wrap etc. To promote each collection they have a fabulous range of imagery that always puts a smile on my face! I love this mood board.

Planners and diaries for 2014 from Kikki K Stationery

I would love this collection if it wasn’t leather but they are two of my favourite colours so that’s a positive. I like how sturdy the magazine file looks! I’m fed up with getting paper magazine holders and then they fall apart after a couple of years because I keep putting too many magazines and notebooks in there :p

Notebooks and notepads from Kikki K Stationery

This is a collection of a lot of lovely notebooks. That 3am notepad made me smile. I’m sure lot’s of people need one of those. I need a columbo style notebook for before I go to sleep “Just one more thing”.. and then “put jam on the shopping list”. Just a little insight into how i run through everything before I go to sleep :p

I really like the colours used in this home management binder for storing manuals and warranties! A great product for organising queens out there!

Valentines gift ideas from Kikki K
I think these are some of the lovely scandi inspired ceramics that are available (in Oz only) and were posted as valentines gift ideas. Perhaps not but they should have been! The colour’s are lovely
Valentines stickers and stationery from Kikki K
These are some of last years Valentine’s treats and I’m sure there are some lovely new designs available. If you get in early you could get them shipped to your country in time for this year!

Welcome to my favourite party supplies! After earlier’s post I thought it was perfectly apt to share my favourite party supplies with you ^_^

Have you any parties coming up? I’m tempted just to start decorating my house in anticipation :p
Ooh! Another collection I have is all about garland’s! What a great way to decorate, party or no party!

Fun and Fabulous Cushion Finds!

After the madness of Christmas, New Year and then removing all the Christmas and festive decor, I’ve been looking for new colour schemes for my living room in the form of Cushions and Pillows! I realise this is still January and merely the beginning of winter (in terms of weather) over here in the UK so I don’t want to introduce spring colours too early but I must be honest, it’s difficult not to be tempted by some of those lovely cushions! I also love the fact I can make my own little Pinboard style favourites on etsy now ^_^

You can view all of my other favourites on etsy here.

Cath Kidston Spring Summer 2014

I completely screamed the entire house down when I saw this caravan sewing box! It’s on my wish list, although no gifts for me for another 6 or 7 months so I shall cross my fingers it doesn’t sell out by then! I absolutely love it!!! Can you tell? Was that a bit over the top? haha! Do you see the little floral pattern on the caravan? I think it’s a new one, I’ve seen the lovely fabric covered box and notebooks in the stationery section that I also fell in love with instantly ^_^

I absolutely love those pyjamas, but I cannot find them on the site anywhere so they must not be available just yet. Have patience Claire :p Of course that’s the thing I notice, instead of announcing the all new ‘painterly rose’ pattern! I do apologise. You can get mixing bowls, rolling pins, spatulas, aprons, you name it!

I like the shade of blue used on the mixing bowl. What do you think of the new ‘painterly rose’? I’m not sure that I’m too crazy about it, as I really love the traditional style patterns that I’m used to getting from CK!

I do like this China mug though. I thought it was rather lovely!

Did I mention the cake stand was available?!

These kid’s backpacks are so adorable. I absolutely love the polka dot backpack and wish it was in adult size!

The new bright and bold range from Cath Kidston must be doing well if they’ve expanded the range. Perhaps they’re trying to expand their customer base. It’s nothing like the usual and older type of patterns I have all over my own home.

This bird print is bold, but it’s beautiful and I love that clever use of a hostess trolley!

I am going to buy this. This is an absolute certainty. Although I’m also certain I would need one in the other pattern available, one for going into the machine and the other can deal with things coming out of the machine! Or for whites and darks… two always work better than the one in the laundry department!

The blue mug is my favourite ^_^

Old school patterns being expanded into a bathroom set! I was very happy to see this! These two items will also be going onto a wish list :p or I might just treat myself.

After seeing this image, I can finally gauge the size of Cath Kidston travel purses and they’re exactly the correct size for what I would need it for. Can you believe I don’t have a purse at the moment!?

I adore this pattern, whole heartedly!

I also adore this whole heartedly! it’s a toiletry bag but I can think of lots of items to put in there. Crafty storage perfection!

Eventhough I’m not mad about this pattern, I do quite like the measuring spoons ^_^

It looks rather effective when you have the entire collection!

I’m a stationery fiend so I absolutely love ALL the notebooks now available, AND mechanical pencils! Mechanical pencils are a ‘must have’ item for people who enjoy lettering (like myself)

I found this little lockable journal and heart eraser in the children’s section! How adorable is this?! A wee secret diary ^_^

EEP! I’ll have the lot! The ring binder and notebook are fabulous and very complimentary. My two favourite colours!

I was lucky enough to receive a free gift with a magazine, several years ago now but it was a clear Cath Kidston toiletry bag. It was flat, I used it as a travel art journal kit because it was the perfect size for a sketchbook and set of small water colour pencils and I am certain they were incredibly popular with said magazine as here we are two or three years on… and they’re selling them left, right and centre! How fabulous ^_^ I’ll take all the patterns please!

I also own the Cath Kidston travel pillow and eye mask in this pattern but it’s navy in colour. It’s marvellous! I use the eye mask quite regularly as I must have complete darkness! I’m a big fan of that little travel bag. My wish list appears to be growing.

And these folding toiletry bags are also fabulous for art journalling or craft supplies. I’m not big into make up or toiletries, so if I ever receive toiletry bags as gifts, they usually end up being used as craft storage.
Ladies… take a look at what is hanging over the shower… a towel or a bathrobe?! I don’t care what it is, I must have it!!!!

And finally!!! The washi tape patterns for 2014!!! Yay! My favourite of all the new releases are always the washi tape patterns ^_^

What is your favourite pattern for this year?

You can view the new items and the all important washi tape via this link

Isn’t this coffee shop absolutely stunning? The folks of Cape Town are very lucky to have a Roastery like this to visit. The ‘Bean There‘ coffee shop itself is beautiful in all whites with pops of vibrant colour coming from the Velvet upholstered couch and those coloured lampshades! I’m in awe of those marvellous lampshades! One of my resolutions for this year is to learn how to recover some little vintage lampshades ^_^ I think I may need a book about fabrics suitable for lampshades. I’m especially impressed by the pleated lampshade, I love the colour ^_^ I digress! The shop from the outside looks so inviting and I would probably end up buying an espresso pot or most of the things on display!

My Favourite Washi Tape Stores

Hello everyone and welcome! The one post this December without christmas at it’s core!! My cousin and I have been debating about our planners for 2014 and have been engrossed in pinterest and filofax style pins. We noticed that everyone is going crazy decorating with washi tape so this post is for my smelly cousin :p
My first favourite store for washi tape is In The Clear – you can buy multipacks which always end up working out a little cheaper.

The second is Mieryaw who has some great multi packs. The colourful tapes up there come as one big set for like £9 including shipping! That’s the best price I found for those.

 Pretty Tape

The shop Pretty Tape offers great deals on the multi packs and of course you can buy singles too.

 Uguisu washi tape

Uguisu have regular multipack updates and I love all of the colours in this pack! I don’t have this pack but as soon as I run out of my plain pastels Im buying it. In fact, I would love all the colours apart from the two dark ones at the end!

Favourite Washi Tape Stores

Washi Matta  (I spelt it wrong in the collage, oops!) These guys have the wide stuff! In loads of widths actually and stickers. I love the multi colour tapes without the dark colours as I mentioned above. I’m going to end up spending so much money.

I hope you enjoy and find these useful! You can follow my favourite Washi Tape’s and patterns here on my etsy pages

I really love Anthropologie and I’m always lusting after their fancy decorations and gorgeous aprons! Aren’t those fabulous!? You could almost wear them as dresses or skirts, just make sure to walk backwards and don’t turn around haha!
Anthropolgie have also got a little tutorial on their site to make a big festive christmas wreath! It’s fabulous and I would love to make a giant version but I don’t think I would have the patience!

Do you see those little snow globe guys up there? Those are salt and pepper shakers O_O want! I also want the gold monogram mugs! want want want haha!

The Original Pop Up Shop

Every year I get so excited when the Original Pop Up Shop opens! Those little white felt acorns are my favourite of all the items. And of course the colourful pom pom wreath would be suitable any time of year right?
I don’t really know how I am managing to save any money this christmas! I want to buy everything ^_^
What is your favourite item from the original pop up shop? I’m definitely thinking the little felted acorns.
